Hincapie Vita Cycling Jersey - Half-Zip, Short Sleeve (For Women)

I had to return this jersey due to stitching problems under the zipper - but I probably would have returned it anyway. The fabric is really heavy, not very breathable and the material has no give. I don't mind a half zipper jersey, but this one doesn't go as low as my other jerseys - so cooling off would be more difficult. The short zipper with the heavy fabric makes it seem almost suffocating. The sizing seems true to size - I like race fit jerseys - the small was fine for my 5'8 130lb frame. The hyacinth color is actually maroon. I'm not a big fan of maroon. I find it a depressing color - not a color that gets me pumped to attach the road.

The quality of this cycling jersey seemed very good. Unfortauntely, it runs small. I originally ordered the medium (I'm a 36B), but found it to be very, very tight. I returned it and tried for a large. This too was very tight; on both sizes, I could not fully close the front zipper--at the neckline. To do would have choked me, and I don't have a big neck.

I purchased this jersey as a gift for my adult daughter. After reading previous reviews I ordered it in a large size and when it arrived it still looked small. I returned it and exchanged it for an extra-large. Obviously I'm not happy with the Hincapie sizing.

I used this product in a race and it was perfect! It fits small so buy one size larger.

I read the reviews and ordered up a size. It is still way to small. It cuts under the arms. The fabric is kind of plastic-y, so it probably protects against the wind, but I can't imagine that it will breath in the summer heat. It's going back today.
