“useable gear, keeps your ears covered”

“I bought this to replace an ultra-thin beanie I loved to wear while hiking/biking/snow shoeing in cold temperatures. I didn't take it off for the entierty of a six day backpacking trip last January in the White Mountains. I sadly lost this somewhere in moving between apartments. So... This is what i got to replace it. this hat is thicker than what I was hoping for but that's just because I overheat easily. It covers my ears entierly which i very much like. the headband part is double layered, and the dome is single layered. The stretch is nice, the reflective logo on the back is good for night-time runs. my complaint is about the seams on the inside, both around the bottom edge and between the double-layer and single layer. This hat is "one-size" and my head is a bit on the larger size. as a result, these seams get pressed into my forehead with noticeable force. and end up causing some irritation for me. If you have a head on the smaller end of the diameter spectrum, this hat will probably work for you.”
