    Pros:
Good Protection from the Sun, Light weight, Stylish, Superior Lens Quality
    Cons:
    Non-Spring Hinge Temples
    Best Uses:
Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, General Use, Saltwater Fishing
    Describe Yourself:
    Avid Fisher
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
At the price offerd these are great! The only down side, as listed above, they are older style frame material without spring loaded hinges. End result you have to be a little more careful in their usage. Other than that, I highly rocomend but only for a mans face, they are to large for 90% of women out there.

Polarized glasses are almost essential when boating [or fishing] on sunny days. This style, metal frameless, is lighter and will retain its fit better than plastic framed sunglasses.

These are not only stylish but better than the *** ones I purchased. The lemses color is great and does not strain the eyes.

Very low lense quality. I have gray color lenses, I've seen worst lenses only once and that was other Hobie sunglasses. Except that nice and stylish sunglasses.

    Durable, High Quality, Lightweight

    Not for low-light
    Best Uses:
    Everyday, Sun and glare protection

I love these sunglasses. I really wanted a large-lense, aviator-type style, so it was between these and another pair from Smith Optics (no longer available here). What won me over was how lightweight these were - they fit perfectly and I can't feel them on my face (I don't usually like wearing glasses because of this). I forget they're even there when I wear them up on my head! The fact that they're so lightweight is also a definite plus as I have them in mind for a planned PCT thru-hike next year and every ounce counts. They come in a very sturdy, high-quality case, although I might have to trade it in for a lighter one. I haven't exactly been careful with these sunglasses, but the polycarbonate lenses seem to be very durable and even after a month of regular summer use, haven't been scratched up in the slightest. I also really like the copper tint of these lenses. Everything stays true to color, crisp and bright with these, and the fact that they are polarized is a another plus. The only downside to these glasses is that the lenses, although they're not unusually dark, are too dark for low-light conditions (this may have to do with the color of the lenses). As I really only use them under really bright, sunny conditions, it hasn't been too much of an issue for me. Overall, this is a very high-quality pair of sunglasses that I'm really happy with. You definitely get what you pay for with these.
