What an idiot I have been buying suits for years at the department stores waiting for their sales. STP is great - unbelievable prices for good quality suits. This Holbrook suit is another example. Took a chance on this no-name brand and the fit is great, looks great, and I did not spend too much.

Suit is thin, light-weight wool. It is great for summer or travel (to keep cool), but probably will wear out or through (holes) quick with constant wearing. Tayloring required: Sleeves were too long - probably a 36-38, and had to take trousers in at least 2.5 inches. Also had to slim down the trouser legs - pretty baggy. Closed vents in back to make suit look better. Overall well made suit, good quality, feels comfortable, pretty pattern with vertical striping.

I really like this suit. A real steal for the price i paid. And for wool no less. I read complaints about the buttons. I don't see a prob with their color. I asked a few people what they thought of them and they thought the buttons looked good. Could not be bought in a short size but i bought anyway, knowing the sleeves would have to be shortened. Hey, for [$] for this suit, no big deal paying a tailor a couple bucks.

The suit is true to size. The pinstripes are very subtle and the wool fabric is light weight and comfortable. The buttons were cheap and too light blue for the suit. I had my tailor replace the buttons for $10. Good suit for a great price.

The suit was gray with light blue buttons. If the buttons were charcoal or a darker gray the suit would be excellent. Having to replace at least 13 buttons makes the suit less of a good value. Holbrook suits I've had have all been just fine. This one had to go back.
