I have purchased many quality items from Sierra trading post over years (since 1996) but have never in those 14 years come across an item that is so bad in quality. I ordered 6 large bath towels and 4 hand towels; I only needed to open 3 of the towels to decide that these were immediately going back in the box back to Sierra trading post. Every towel I opened had ringspuns that were pulled out and threads that had come undone from the edges. These were the porest quality towels I have ever seen in my life. for the price you would expect something much nicer and of better quality. I do not recommend these to anyone as the price does not justify the quality of this item.

The towel is very heavy weight. In my front loading washer it had to be rebalanced twice during the spin cycle. Even without the central post of a top loading washer, the side seam unraveled during the first wash. The towel may be too thick and luxurious to be useful! I returned it.

Great item, heavy weight, soft

These towels are thick and soft -- very high quality. I bought a set in glacier. The color is a bit more green than the blue I hoped for, but they are so nice, I'm keeping them.

Absorbs well, after washing.
