The zip to top-of-collar helps as well. I read the reviews and gave some second-thought to sizing and wearability/durability. As for the durability, the stitching looks tight to me--no loose threads on mine. As for fit, I can tell you that I am 5'11" 180 lbs and can wear either a medium or large in some cases. The size large fit fine and my 34 inch arms were a near perfect fit in the sleeves. The body of this coat is cut a bit "boxy," but that only helps with wearing a sweater or fleece underneath for extra warmth. Notice I called this a "coat" and not a "jacket" as described. The body length makes this more like a classic "car coat"; so, the two-way zipper helps when sitting in the car. Note that the "stone" color is less a white, grey or taupe, and more of a very-light green tone.

Super light. Use for horseback riding. Perfect. Zippers work on both ends so perfect for activities where you need to have more hip room/knee room. Surprisingly warm given its light weight. Wears well, washes well. Great value.
