    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I use this product on the job as a professional window washer and it initially caught my eye for waterproof characteristics, foot protection and low boot characteristics for winter use. It is a nice looking boot,has worn well, is waterproof, but I feel like I am walking on a piece of tire tread at the beginning and end of the day. In other words, I am disappointed in the lack of foot support that it provides.

    A comfortable light duty boot. Use everyday for dog walking. Not waterproof as described. After about 2 months of use, return home with wet socks after walking on wet grass!

    I usually take a size 13 but these were more like 14's. [...]I now have a good fitting pair of 12's. These will be fine for wearing around town nine months of the year (Pacific Northwest). Too warm for summer. I went day hiking today and was quite disappointed in these as hiking footwear. I could feel the (round) rocks in the path right through to the ball of my foot.
