Sort of a hard "flannel" like maybe something you use for a sack? Only cost $5 so not sending them back, but still--have to give them away. Maybe good for a small child?

Answer med sz waist relaxed=30" stretched to 38" long rise, ~31" inseam. Haven't washed yet, but this unprocessed Madras type weave generally shrinks plenty.
