    I love this coat, but the main zipper ripped out after a week. I had a YKK zipper sewn in (cost about the same as the coat), and I am doing great. I wear this all the time when it cools off. The hood does not fit well, but it zips off.

    The only downside for me was the main zipper. I'd prefer that it be larger and easier to manipulate. Frankly, I believe all parka-length jackets should have a "two-way" or "double" zipper that permits an otherwise zipped garment to be unzipped from the bottom. This facilitates sitting while wearing the garment.
