    I bought this for cold-weather pheasant hunting. The ear flaps keep you as warm as you need if you're also walking through snow or cover, and the brim helps with the sun (something stocking caps can't do). When I first got it, I thought the insulation on top of the head was a little light, but after hunting in it on a 5 deg F day, it's ideal, plenty of warmth. And the Elmer Fudd styling is "noticeable".
