Great glove for shooting; provides excellent maneuverability and control when needed; plus provides adequate warmth.

I am using these for winter road-running. They are especially helpful for early morning or evening runs when I am more concerned about visiblility. They are also warmer than the liner gloves I often wear - perfect for runs in below freezing temps. Having the ability to flip back the mitten part is handy for tying shoes, fiddling with my watch for splits, etc. Also will wear for fall hikes through State Forest property open to hunting. Only had them a few weeks, but they seem very well made, and are extremely comfortable. Also highly breathable.

My boyscout son used these for a backpacking trip into the mountains. They were versatile and visible as it was during deerhunting season! He is 12 and thinks they are VERY cool.

These were great for keeping my fingers warm and for quick access to my trigger finger. The only thing I would change would be to leave off the Velcro and just let the mitten part hang free when fingers are uncovered. The Velcro is noisy, and if you're hunting large game this would definitely make your presence known.

I'm going to use my new gloves for big game hunting.

mittens are always warmer than gloves. Good compromise!

MY WORD THESE ARE BRIGHT! If you can get past the "safety orange" color, these mittens are just the thing if you expect to need to some detail manipulation in cold weather: flip the mitten cover over to free up your fingers, & flip it back when you're done to keep your fingers warm. What's not to like?
