They've not tested it yet, so I can't really speak to that point. But it is great looking, doesn't smell, and you can't beat the price. I will say that it doesn't respond that well to the vacuum brush...a bunch of small threads came loose, but didn't break off. Perhaps this is normal, but from now on, I'll vacuum without the brush.
