H.S. Trask Bison Gallatin ES Cap Toe Shoes - Oxfords (For Men)

A classic clean look, elegant without being stuffy. Having worn them around the house and out traveling a few days since July, they've proven comfortable. They will be getting more wear now as I start a new job. A light medium brown (darker than tan, lighter than childrens' brown crayons), they do darken on exposure to water, so clearly some neutral polish is needed to prevent uptake of water from rain, snow, etc to get the long life I expect from them. I liked them enough to have checked in mid-December if they were still available. No, but perhaps someday.

Got these for a biking trip to Europe that included a lot of city walking; wore for 15 days straight (biking and walking on pavement for hours a day) with no aches. thick insoles, vibram-like sole and finish of leather made these a great shoe for this purpose. Not the most stylin' shoe, but perfect for travel, and good price.

Nice looking shoe, but I will be returning them becuase they ae 1/2 size too small, which is untypical for HS Trask.

i have been a big fan of HS Trask for may years, and this shoe lives up to those expecations. I am very happy with the purchase.

This is my second round with H S Trask shoes. Many years ago I purchased a black and brown pair, they held up very well, and so I replace them with the same brand. I hope they are around in the years to come so when these wear out I can purchase another two pair.

Great work shoe. Comfortable right out of the box. Looks good and is extremely durable. Not a scuff on them after several weeks of wear.

I like the comfortability of these shoes straight out of the box and the leather inside lining.
