    I like these boots. I have not had the problems other shoppers describe. The boots look good with dress pants or jeans. They require some wear to get the leather to soften up a little. I have narrow feet, so they fit me well; if you have wide feet this boot is not for you.

    the first time i put them on i ripped the pull-on loop above the heel and had to get them repaired...the loop on the mate to this shoe appeared to be attached more solidly. did not really want to hassle the return, the shoe is otherwise nicely made and stylish... so much for the discount though...

    The styling very sharp and the fine leather shines like a mirror. The materials and construction are comparable to my Allen Edmonds and so is the HS Trask extended warranty. The fit was too narrow for me feet initially, but after my local cobbler streched them they fit like a glove.

    Reluctantly, I will have to return the item because the width was not a good fit for my feet and the size. All else as described in the website were accurate. The feel of the materials , workmanship, and the design are very nice and better that any I found in my local malls and boutiques. So, if you've got narrow feet and love the style ... this is fine choice.

    These boots needed some stretching and wear to get friendly with my feet. They are simple with classic lines. One can wear them with jeans or dress trousers. They can go to the coffee shop or to church. The bootmaker I had stretch them said they were "very well made."
