H.S. Trask Sportsman Ankle Boots (For Men)

I bought three pairs of these shoes. All of them have a stitched heavy seam that runs down the center part of the inside tongue. Very uncomfortable and painful. If this does not rub your foot the wrong way, then you will love this shoe. Great overall quality, except one very important design flaw.

After years of problems with my feet I underwent surgery then took a chance on a pair of these boots. Turns out they are incredibly comfortable, very cool looking, and very durable. The browns have an extra gel-type padding for the ball of the foot; though the blacks lack it, they are equally comfortable. To ensure I'd have pairs of these for many years to come, and thrilled I'd found a shoe that my feet could love, I bought two black and two brown pairs--my feet will be comfortable through my seventies, I figger.

Trask bison shoes are as good as it gets for durability and wear.

Super comfortable, lightweight and the look great. I love that these are made in the Rockies (Bozeman).

I have long admired the look of the original Blundstone elastic-gored pull-on ankle boot, but could not justify the high cost. I've also found the Blundstone to be lighter and less sturdy than I anticipated. When the Trask Sportsman Ankle Boot came up at [...], though, I figured that I couldn't miss. It is a beautiful boot, which looks like it ought to last a long time, and is both sturdier and handsomer than the Blundstone. This is the sort of thing I look forward to finding at[...]: luxury goods at discount store prices.
