Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rollin from East Central Wisconsin on Wednesday, November 28, 2012Due to the limitation of sizes available and liking the features of this coat, I ordered a 2XL.
The coat is very well made and well designed but was much too large for me (except that the coat encompassed my pot belly (50" waist) nicely.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rollin from East Central Wisconsin on Wednesday, November 28, 2012I was looking for a down jacket that would keep me comfortable while inacdtive at 0 degrees(F). This is not the jacket.
It has far too little down for real warmth. I am now forced to consider an $800 Canada Goose coat, their expedition parka, which is more coat than am actually seeking.
For a lightweight down jacket however, it is a good value and worth the Sierra Trading Post price, all of which are very good as is their cusomer service in all respects.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by the hippie repairman from Homer, Alaska on Sunday, November 25, 2012i work in subfreezing windy conditions and bought two pair as a base layer. after a week of use i'm pleased. But who ever thought about plastering
"SCENT-AWAY" in the front of this was an idiot.
