It can be used as a sun dress during the day, or it can even be worn when going out at night. I'm taking it with me on my trip through South America. My only issues with the dress are that the straps will not conceal bra straps, and the fabric is not stretchy, so you just have to plan for that before bending down to pick something up.

I bought a medium (I am 64", 131 lbs, and usually am an 8 or 10). This "medium" was in reality perhaps a size 4!!. Perhaps it would fit a "medium" Asian adolescent. I returned it.

I wanted something that was light, cute, not too showy, and can easily be crumpled up into my backpack. This dress definitely fits the bill! I could see wearing it during the day or in the evening/ I'm 5'4" and 132 lbs and M fit me perfectly. The elastic on the sides of the waist creates a flattering fit.

I ordered a medium and it was too tight on my hips. I reordered a Large and it fits the hips but it a little large on the top. I am keeping it because it is really cute
