“These are not soft soled shoes, but the heel has a nice "gel" patch for the heel bone. They are good, firm shoes for normal walking and standing. Note: the finish looks a little like suede, but does not stain or scuff easily. The photo on the web looks lighter brown than my shoes actually look.”
