I was looking for comfortable, low shaft boots to wear to the office and combine with grey pants. These boots fit the bill. The color is not so easy to find; often shoemakers go either too orange or too dark. This is a perfect pecan.

Yes, they made my size 10 feet look like a size 5 (it is amazing) and yes they are stylish and an awesome, versatile color. The huge problem with these boots is the heel and I SO wish I could change it. The back of the heel curves in so when you step on wood or tile floors, the foot is unstable - your weight is right on the edge of that curved heel. I felt like in the 'right' conditions (slippery floor) my feet would slide forward and I would either break my tibia or be on the floor. I do not want to have to think about HOW I am walking and that's what was going on. Also, the sole is like a slipper. My feet rolled side to side in them - no stability. I have no choice but to return.

I loved everything about these boots except the fit. If you have narrow, long feet, they'll be perfect for you. On my B+ width feet, they were just too narrow. As they were also too long, sizing up wouldn't help. I returned them regretfully.

I thought that these were very cute. They would fit fine if you have wide ankles. Otherwise, they slip right off.
