I ordered the 8 and they were a 1/2 size too large on me and slipped up and down while walking. Don't need blisters on the backs of my heels, so back they went. Note: The green is a brighter than photo shows.

I haven't taken any long walks in them yet but so far they don't rub anywhere on my feet and the bottoms give pretty good support. I think I am going to find myself wearing these a lot this summer. I also think they will be just fine if they get wet. I may have to get another color!!
