4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Features if it Fit

As most are, this bag cannot be adjusted small enough to fit a 5'7" 143lb athletic frame most of which is legs without movement while biking. It would fit the chest and back of someone taller torso'ed and/or wider, but if your a sm-md framed person, you will spend a long long long time trying to dial it in, and that's BEFORE riding. During and after riding could be another set of adjustments. Doesn't matter that there are a bonus 3 ways to secure it to your frame....shoulder strap, waist belt and sternum strap - which has a Velcro attachment and can go either left or right shoulder, NICE feature. The shoulder pad is SO long, it prevents me from cinching the strap just tight enough to where it won't move or slide. There is too much left over strap (see images) and no where to tuck it, which is why I'm returning, and I almost never do since STP - when timed right - has the best deals in the planet. **my tip would be to put items in your cart and wait**. I love the shape of this bag, the volume, the compartments, the waterproofness and taped/sealed seams, and I love the reflectivity. But in the end, if it moves while commuting by bike, it is of no use of my purposes. If you just want a hiking or motorcycling messenger, this might work for you. I might need to invent a bag to fit certain bodies with enough volume to handle our gear but not too gigantic to travel safely.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Not Recommended

I bought one of these about 4 months ago. I used it primarily as an airline carry-on (so -- not often and not under very challenging conditions). The seam holding the zipper has separated from the rest of the bag. Thus, the bag is no longer waterproof (and the contents can fall out).

I contacted Hyalite thru the company website to find out about warranty repairs. No response.

I do not recommend this bag, both because it failed as a product and the company didn't stand behind it.
