Hyper Products Hyper Stick Chew Toy for Large Dogs

I'd get another one, it's nice to have a couple of training options. Plus this one you can shove treats inside of or for scent training.

one dog I got it for was immediately able to break pices off of it - but otherwise durable

seemed very indestructible but wasn't

After five minutes this dog toy was worse than trash. There was a mess of chunks that had me worrying about choking. This is an unsafe product.

our dog loves to chew, but does not usually rip things to pieces. this item started to break up almost immediately.

Our dog loved this toy. However, given the smell of the thing, we got rid of it based on concerns as to whether there might be adverse health effects for our dog.

i ordered this toy hoping that my dog who loves to chew would not be able to tear it apart, but right away he started ripping pieces off of it.

Like all toys the Hyper Stick is not perfect for all uses. As a retrieve toy for my active hunting Airedales it is good; the dogs can grab it easily and its heavy weight approximates a typical game retrieval. I wouldn't use it as an unsupervised chew-toy, however. My terriers have big teeth in strong jaws, and if they were understimulated (bored, like most dogs), they would destroy this item. But to play find-and-retrieve games in large open spaces it is great...I bought the biggest ones and throwing these heavy things is a good exercise for me, too. Use common sense.

This is not a toy it is a choking hazard.I gave it to my dog (he is a yellow lab.)to play with, in 15 min's it was starting to come apart in pc's. This toy is not for any dog.Take this item out of your catalog before you kill someones pet by choking them.
