    This sweater wins my heart because of the thoughtfulness of the design combined with general good looks. The sleeves are (hallelujah!) long enough. There are plenty of well-placed pockets. The collar is nice and tall to keep out sneaky snow. Its wool, so I expect it will keep me warm, dry and stink-free. All that, and it looks sharp.

    I would have kept this, but for the color. I ordered this jacket in "rata", which I thought was warm brown (it appeared that way on several different computer screens). It's more of a faded maroon, not what I had anticipated and not a very attractive color. So disappointing, because this was beautifully made, warm, soft - everything you'd expect from Ibex. Has zip handwarmer pockets, which is a nice touch. The soft merino makes it a great replacement for your classic acrylic fleece jacket. Oh, well.
