Ibex Cirque Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

Material feels awful and is cheap.

I've sued this jacket for a 3 week trip to Turkey in December. It was water resistent, warm, lightweight and comfy.

Functional good looks. I am wearing it almost daily with our late season indian summer weather. With a warm layer under it, I can probably wear it most of the winter. I bought one size up and it fits perfectly.

Great multi-purpose jacket. My wife loves it. Pit zips would have been a great addition for better ventilation

The Cirque is a comfortably warm jacket for chilly Minnesota fall days. The sleeves are long enough for someone tall like me. The material sheds water on drizzly days. I even wear this jacket at work on casual days with a T underneath. I haven't yet been through a winter with it, but can see use for cross country skiing and running as well...although there may not be enough ventilation for heavy exercise.

I love this coat. It's lightweight, warm and wind resistant. It's not water proof, but can stand up to adverse weather. The length of the sleeves and back are just right. I especially like the cut around the waist. Most coats for women seem too box shaped. Since this coat has a more tailored fit, it doesn't have a lot of bunchy material in the middle.

I had wanted this jacket to wear in cool, rainy conditions, as I walk several miles every day no matter what the weather is. However, I was put off by the static cling in the fabric, the obvious synthetic feel to the outer layer, and the swishy noise the fabric made while I wore the jacket. I really don't want to hear my clothing! As far as the fit goes, the body is comfortable and the sleeves are long enough, but it's too short to be really practical in wet weather. I would have liked it to cover the hip area, like Ibex's Nolita jacket does. Maybe the Cirque jacket is better suited to a cyclist than a walker.

The jacket fits well and there is a nice color selection- I have the purple one. It is great with layers underneath for cool temperatures. I wear the jacket every day. Compared to other soft shells, you can tell the jacket has a wool component against your skin. I would buy this again.
