4.0 out of 5 stars. Not expected thisReviewed by lia from CA on Monday, November 24, 2014I am really disappointed with this specific Real Fleece product. I have two of them and wanted one in black. It is one inch shorter and tight in shoulders - overall fit is not same as my other RealFleece jackets. May be it is " improved" fit because I do not want to believe that Icebreaker has such poor Quality control.

5.0 out of 5 stars. very warmReviewed by naeba from houston on Wednesday, April 23, 2014
I bought it off-season to catch the sale and am so glad I did. I will be warm next winter :)
I noticed that this jacket is described as midweight while the hooded version of the same jacket is heavyweight. I noticed the same thing with the hooded and unhooded 260 weight versions i tried on and wondered whether that was a fluke. If any STP staff can comment on this, that would be great for my future reference.
Sizing-wise, I would recommend sizing up if unsure. This brand seems to run small and this jacket is smaller than than the other two icebreaker jackets i have. i am 5'2, 27/28 waist, 35 chest, 112 lbs and the medium fit well with some room for a layer underneath. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. I should have bought two!Reviewed by Anonymous from Boston on Monday, November 25, 2013Four years ago, I bought the previous iteration of this jacket. I wore it nearly every day, all winter, every winter until I wore holes in the sleeves. True to Icebreaker advertising, it never smelled and was easily washable . I recently replaced the old version with this one, and it's an even better garment — warm, well-fitted, with better pockets and sturdier zippers. No regrets!

3.0 out of 5 stars. styling is funkyReviewed by Appreciator of good style and quality from New Jersey on Monday, November 11, 2013The jacket has a wide band across the bottom that has a shape of its own: it pooches out. Very disappointing, because the fabric is really nice. I returned. it.
