I bought one of these for my son as a winter layering shirt. He loves this shirt and doesn't want to take it off half the time. He is average in size and the shirt fits slim, but that is perfect for the use we bought it for. The color is also a nice gray/blue. I wish they had more in different colors – especially for girls. Just noticed it says hand wash... I have machine washed and low heat dryed and it has done fine. I might not have bought it if I would have seen that before! But I'm glad I did!

I ordered one of these for each of my children, size 6 and size 8. The wool is so thin and stretchy, it doesn't matter that I sized up for one child. Even though the cut is very trim fit, it doesn't bind or feel uncomfortable on the child who is wearing his correct size.
We're using these layered over snug-fitting cotton pj's at night. (Aside from being form-fitting, wool is also naturally flame-resistant, making this a great use for this product.)
I'm shopping for the matching pants today and very tempted to get additional tanks to wear as vests/undershirts for daytime as well. My kids have a fair amount of SmartWool, which is also pretty nice, but the more sensitive kid sometimes says those are too itchy. He is the one who is now begging for a matching Icebreaker hat to wear as a "nightcap" with this tank. This is very high quality wool, amongst the least itchy I've ever felt.
Best Uses: Whenever they're cold
Cons: Line dry
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Soft, Stretchy, Warm, Washable

After initial comments from my son that the shirt was itchy he now finds the shirt comfortable and he even sleeps in it. I think it will be a good layer to add during winter outings x-country skiing.
