Icebreaker Bodyfit 260 Altitude Shirt - Merino Wool, Zip Neck, Long Sleeve (For Women)

Love, love, love this shirt!

I'm actually wearing it right now and it still feels like gold. From the first time on, I've loved it, I can't wear it enough. Unfortunately a little too warm to wear as pj's. It's so versatile as I wear it as a casual piece to layering for an outdoor activity. It's a shame I couldn't get it in other colors for the price before it was discontinued. Oh well, will just have to get another Icebreaker in another style sometime soon. It is truly a great product.

I use this shirt as a second layer. I ware only Icebreaker and Smartwool at work, at the art studio and at home. It provides movability, warmth and comfort. Minnesota winters are cold and wet and I know that I'll always be comfortable whether in a 55 degree studio, a 75 degree office or out shoveling. I am 5'5" and small on top so I don't need support and it fits great. I ordered a medium because if they accidentally go into a hot dryer the smalls get too tight to layer. I either hand wash or machine wash this particular shirt once a week and by the next morning it is dry if hung up, so don't put it in the dryer if you can avoid it unless it is on air dry.

I recently found Icebreaker and now will not wear anything else. This shirt is incredibly comfortable and very well made out of high quality merino wool. I sleep in the crew neck version, and wear the turtlenecks during the day, sitting around the house, cycling, walking outdoors, whatever. I love the fact that it is very long, easily tucks in and stays tucked. I also love the thumbholes. This feature has gone a long way towards weaning me off the need for fingerless gloves.

I'm 5ft 90lbs, and the size XS fits me with room for layers under. It is not aa trim or snug a fit like Smartwool's size XS shifts. This IceBreaker shirt is very high quality, soft, warm, and cozy. The underarm bunches a little bit, but it doesn't bother me.

This is a figure-flattering Icebreaker piece that can be worn on it's own (although maybe a bit cool for everyday). The only real problem is the light color under the arms. It stains very very easily. No luck getting the stains out. Maybe with repeated washing...

Using as a layer for horseback riding in the winter. Warm layer without the bulk!

I use this light weight wool top for travelling - it is smart and great for layering...

I'm sold on Icebreaker design and quality. It beats Ibex for careful tailoring (underarm gussets, for example), and is priced better. I'll wear this as a mid-layer for winter outdoor activities. The high neck covers that gap just below the chin beautifully. Excellent quality merino. Great for a long, slim fit.
