Icebreaker Bodyfit 260 Base Layer Top - Merino Wool, Midweight, Long Sleeve (For Men and Women)

This is a really great shirt . . . I wear it on top of a lightweight icebreaker shirt and then top with a down vest and I'm ready to go x-country skiing.

Not cycling specific, but great for cool weather riding with a pack.

This Icebreaker top has great style and I even wear it to the office on casual days. Performance is second to none, it wicks moisture great, keeps you warm when wet and doesn't stink. I have had one of these tops for 3 years now and it still looks and performs like new.

I use as a base layer or as a shirt alone.

Usually large size tops are very comfortable, sometimes even a medium will do. This top feels little too snug in the torso. But I like Icebreaker products, wear well and are very durable.

This thing is surprisingly warm for being so thin. Way comfy too.

Once you buy into the Icebreaker brand, you will not go back to anything else. There were lots of reviews on the Icebreaker merino wool, but the cost seemed to lack any value. I first bought a 190 T-shirt from Icebreaker and found myself wearing it all the time because it did everything promised. This 260 really does have the uncanny ability to keep you warm when its cold and cool when its warm. Although they promised this, none of my synthetics truly do this. The construction is excellent. The feel is excellent. If you're dragging your feet to buy this brand because of the price, just take the plunge and do it. Be careful though, because you will not be able to deal with anything else once you take that plunge. Its that good.

Should work great as a layering system for cold weather activities.Normally wear a large but a extra large in the body fit feels about right.
