“I love Merino wool clothes. We live in New England and enjoy skiing so it is a great fabric for that. We have Merino wool for all seasons and have purchased several different brands. I find icebreaker to be a quality product that is highly functional, BUT of the big 3 in Merino wool (ibex, Smartwool & Icebreaker)... Icebreaker is the one that I find to be the most likely to be a touch itchy. It is not an all the time feeling, just every now and then you feel a bit itchy. My solution is to wear a 100% silk base layer underneath my Icebreaker which of course also gives you a bit of extra warmth.”
