Icebreaker Bodyfit 260 Olympia Base Layer Top - Merino Wool, Lightweight, Long Sleeve (For Women)

The shirt is fine for walking/running...the thumb holes are a great addition...I would like to have it smaller in the body, with the same length arms to get the snug look that the photos show.

I bought one to wear in our indoor (horse) riding arena during this terrible Michigan winter. It was so warm and comfortable, that I bought another. It does not pick up the smell of the horse, or the smell of the sweat (if I happen to work any up myself). I've been thinking about wearing it outside running, but I don't know if that stink would go away!

I love Icebreaker clothing for the fit and comfort. I can rely on it for hiking, xc skiing and for social outings or to work.

Perfect first layer for downhill or XC skiing. I love this line of products and will buy them whenever I see them on sale.

I thought that the 260 would be too warm for casual cross-country skiing, but it's a "just right" weight. I especially like the zip collar; it keeps flying snow from my skin.

I love this shirt! I wear it cross-country skiing (this weight is perfect for heavy exercise in single digit temps), I wear it to work and I wear it around the house -- surprisingly, it never makes me too hot. It doesn't hold onto body odors (even with day-after-day vigorous exercise), never feels clammy, and washes up beautifully. The zip collar is great for temperature regulation. The sleeves come with thumb holes, so they don't come up short either.

This shirt is the best shirt I've ever owned for cold weather activities -- I wear it rowing on icy mornings, I wear it downhill skiing, I'm wearing it at work today with slacks. It washes in the washing machine, air dries and continues to look like new. Like all Icebreaker merino wool products, it's beautifully made, never stinks, wicks beautifully and continues to insulate even if I get wet. They are soft, non itchy, shirts at a fabulous price.
