I bought this top for my boyfriend. He loves it. It's stylish enough to wear as a sweater and warm enough to wear as a baselayer when playing outside in the snow. He cannot believe that it's wool because it's so soft and does not itch. Best of all, you can put in the wash machine!

Will use this for skiing, but just now wearing it around the house. It's extremely comfortable against the skin. I expect that this will get more casual use than our on the slopes, but I'm not worried about that!

Bought this Merino wool base layer for my recent trip to the Mid-West for hunting. We were going to be in the tree stand all day long for a 2 week trip and my friend suggested I get some Merino wool. After doing my research I discovered that IceBreaker was a promising option with lots of postitive feedback. I couldn't be happier with my product. I was concerned about the comfort/itching since I'm pretty sensitive to wool, but this feels nothing like the wool items I've worn in the past, very comfortable. I went 2 weeks wearing it every day with only 1 washing and it never stunk. GREAT baselayer, keeps you warm and dry. Since this purchase I've also bought the Icebreaker 150 bottoms and an Icebreaker Merino wool "pocket cap" I think it's called, both are also excellent.

Icebreaker wool tops have a great fit and are manufactured with amazing quality. I've had one of there tops for 3 years and it still looks and functions great. The wool doesn't itch and keeps you warm even when wet. The best part of wool is that it never retains the stench, even after days of use.

Can't say enough good things about the Icebreaker shirts. I love the ones I have and I am always on the lookout for another. They are hard to beat for running in the winter or just lounging around the house.

Icebreaker wool is NOT ITCHY thank goodness, and is the best base layer for cooler weather (and warmer, but in a lighter weight). Soft and light and miraculously warm for the weight. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER, EVER! Accidentally did and it changed the texture - ug. Worth getting more, though.
