They are light enough to wear year round. I can wear them with my dressier shoes. I love the colors. I have the Cranberry and the Blue.

I wear these to work, and on weekends walking the dogs with hiking boots. I bought 2 pair at Christmas in the blue color. When I went to buy more the blue was gone, but these go with a lot of things.

However, after just a couple hours of wearing the first pair (before washing) around my house, the threads started to come loose on the bottom, and the socks looked like the bottom was wearing quickily (no hole, but looked very scuffed). I would have expected better for a pair of merino wool socks. I think I'll stick to the Smartwool brand next time, since those socks last me for years.

But within 10 minutes, I had walked into some pee from my boyfriend's incontinent dog : ( So they are in the wash. Look forward to my next wearing.
