Icebreaker Coastal 340 Jetter Jacket – Merino Wool, Wind Resistant (For Women)

THE FABRIC IS VERY NICE AND WELL CONSTRUCTED, BUT THE SET-IN SLEEVES AND SHOULDERS WERE TOO WIDE. THE BODY WAS VERY FITTED, LIKE A HIGH-PERFORMANCE STYLE, AND THE WIDE SLEEVES LOOKED LIKE THEY WENT WITH ANOTHER JACKET.

It was a trim fit - not big enough for layers. (I wear a medium in most things but often a large in icebreakers, and I tried the medium.) It looked good unzipped. But zipped it was too big or poochy in the chest (I am fairly small there), and armpits were too low and fabric is not that stretchy so it felt restrictive. I couldn't imagine I would reach for it as it wasn't that comfy. Too bad because I like the windproofness and urban style (vs. my other beloved icebreakers which are so sporty).

I liked the look, seems well made, but found the neck uncomfortable. It tended to rub just under my chin. I sent it back.

The sleeves are a bit long, but nice for sweater wearing. I love ice breaker products. I am always satisfied with them

While this is a quality jacket, it's not quite what I was looking for. It's much more useful, as other reviewers have said, as a versatile travel jacket, and less for hiking and an active lifestyle. It keeps you warm, but the shape of the jacket itself is restrictive. Overall, versatile, stylish and good looking, just not what i expected out of my usual Icebreaker products.

too bad the fabric breaks down- this is a nice coat.

Poor design led to poor fit, wouldn't spend any money on this product.

I am very excited about this jacket! I am 5' 8" with a very thin, athletic build and have a small bust. I love the fit in the torso of this jacket. The sleeves are long enough for my arms too! This jacket would likely be tight in the bust for a curvier woman.

Stylish - can dress it up or down with scarves and wear it with jeans or dress pants/skirts/ and also go for hikes/walks in it...great for a city like Vancouver which is chic and outdoorsy both. I bought a medium and get many compliments wearing it and I like the length - goes to the hips...I'm 5ft 4 inches and 130 lbs - athletic build - kind of boxy/square in the waist - not too curvy and it makes me look thinner in the waist and gives me more shape - looks good on me. I roll the sleeves cause they are long for me...and show the lovely pattern on the inside lining - which is in style now on spring dress blazers/jackets..so it looks good. High quality. It is warm and a bit stiff like all "shells" that I have bought which I wish were not the case but it's not like a straight jacket...just can't swing from a rope or climb in it. Zipper is good but can stick sometimes...not in the fabric but takes a bit to get it going. Great travel jacket/blazer cause you can use it for every situation from cold summer nights to winter - 4 season except in very hot climates.
