Reviewed by AT Hiker from Tennessee on Friday, November 8, 2013The WY wind can be bitterly cold, but this neck gaiter did an excellent job at cutting the wind and keeping me warm. Plus the merino wool material felt great against my neck and face.
Reviewed by Snowbanks from Pacific Northwest on Thursday, October 24, 2013I'm not an synthetic material hater... it's been a joy to discover wool. Icebreaker is $$$ but worth every penny. If you want to enjoy your cold climate days, trust that this will keep you well insulated in a variety of conditions. I switched my entire insulation collection over to wool. I'm happy to pay for a few bits more to a company like Icebreaker.
Reviewed by Backcountry Bo from Colorado on Wednesday, August 7, 2013Awesome. I had been looking for a merino Buff for a while and the Icebreaker Neck Gaiter is great. Kept me warm on a trailride and while sleeping outside without making breathing difficult when I pulled it over mouth & nose. I heard they stretch out quickly and since I've had it for only a week I can't comment on that claim, but so far, so good.
Reviewed by mountain maiden from Hesperus, Colorado on Friday, July 12, 2013I ordered a second one in a different color after receiving the first, because I knew I would wear it all the time. You can wear it as a neck gaiter, a hood, a hat, an ear warmer, a turban, etc. The tag has five or six options pictured. You can wear it indoors or out. It is not a heavyweight item that will keep you warm in subzero temps on its own, but will be excellent for layering.
