This shirt is soft, washes well, (I hang to dry, it drys overnight) In the winter, I wear this at least once a week. Oh and when I bike, it doesn't stink like some polyester does.

I have not tested it for this purpose yet. It appears to be well made and I love the thumb holes. Size appears right but if you like your shirts roomy, order a size up.
