    My son loves it, at school it is not too warm inside, but keeps him cozy while he plays outside with only a thin layer on top works as an undershirt for outdoor soccer his go to shirt for everything, runs a little small, the 8 is perfect for a usual size S

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    My 5 1/2 year-old who is 45" tall and relatively slim, is able to wear the size (7-8) now and next year for sure. If you want it to fit snugly, then it is true to size. If you want it loose or your kid is large for their age, then size up. I know one thing for sure, this sure beats the 60s and spraying Scotch Guard on your cotton clothes.
