Icebreaker Nature Scoop Shirt - Merino Wool, Lightweight, Long Sleeve (For Women)

The first time I wore this shirt I had horrible itching and got a rash on my arms. I have never had a problem with merino before, especially Icebreaker, and suspect the shirt may have been treated with something before packaging. It was better on the second wearing after a wash. If you have sensitive skin, you may consider washing before wearing.

I thought the Icebreaker advertisements were just hype, but everything they say is true!

I've found the Icebreaker line to be sized generously in everything except "slim fit." Slim fit means just that; truly a slim first layer. Otherwise I find the sizing a tad big, which means I don't have to worry about shrinkage. The fabric gets a nicer feel to it with each washing. They do "fluff" a little after washing, which is NOT the same as pilling. I believe the fluffing makes it softer and more breathable. Even though these shirts are thin, they are very warm as a first layer. Warm and pretty, not like your usual thermals, so you don't mind leaving your outer layer unzipped a bit. Perfect travel companions too as they wash out in a sink and are dry the next morning! However, it's true what they say; you can go for days and they never stink or itch. What a great product. Thanks Icebreaker and STP for carrying them! Who cares if they are "last years colors?"

I got it for an outer layer for cool spring days that get warm quickly. I got a Med...usually a Sml and it's pretty roomy. I've been wearing it around the house because it's comfy! Ran in it yesterday and it does it's job! Pretty color! I will probably use it more for running errands than running just because it's cute with jeans and a layer underneath! Great buy! Getting more colors!

Nice color (Dawn); nicer than pictured actually. Sleeves long enough, tapered fit w/o being binding. Sewn for a woman's body with hips! A tad longer than I would have preferred, but I"m only average height. I'd say they take into consideration tall girls too so that's a plus! I can always shrink it in the dryer a bit. It's soft and comfortable and the fit and cut make it a great layering piece. I give it 5 stars for workmanship too!

I received it last night and tried it on right away because I had been uncertain about the size. Not only did it fit perfectly, it was so comfortable it ended up becoming a nightshirt too! It is also form-fitting (in a flattering way) without being tight. I plan on buying it in other colors the next time they are discounted.
