Icebreaker Skin 200 Contour Shirt - Merino Wool, Lightweight, Short Sleeve (For Women)

I love my Smartwool shirts and decided to try Icebreaker for a change. I didn't like the fit of this shirt -- the neck opening was too small and I felt kind of choked. The fit is more like a fitted T-shirt instead of a feminine top. I had to return this. It does fit true to size. I'm 5ft 90lbs and got the size XS.

My favorite Icebreaker t-shirt was the original Skin 200. The photo for the product I purchased from Sierra Trading Post IS a photo of a Skin 200 t-shirt, however, the product that was sent to me is not. The product sent to me is the newer Bodyfit 200. The new version has a tighter weave, so it doesn't seem to be quite as breathable as the old Skin 200.

This has already received a lot of use. Great to wear on its own, or layered under another shirt on a cooler day.

This shirt fits great. The fit is snug, contouring your body but not too snug as to be uncomfortable. The length is good for tucking in or leaving out and the sleeves are a nice length. I'm not fond of the little cap sleeves on other shirts but like these sleeves because they are just a little longer and look better. I have a blue and pink shirt in this style and both colors are rich, The merino wool is always, always soft and itch-free against my skin. The shirt travels well since you can wear it multiple days without odor. Washing is a cinch and the shirt comes out looking great.

There isn't an Icebreaker shirt that I don't like but this is one of my favorites. The weight is ideal for multiple seasons and activities. The fit is superb, very flattering. The sleeves are a nice length - not that little cap sleeve thing on some t-shirts. It travels well (multiday use, easy to wash and dry, lightweight). Can't go wrong with this shirt.

Exactly as described, this is slim-fitting. I like things that don't make me look bulkier than I am. This works perfectly to accomplish that. I can wear it underneath just about anything, for extra warmth.

This is perfect to wear in cool weather.

This shirt looks silky and feels fabulous. I have a hard time finding shirts that fit right and are long enough--this fit the bill. I am long waisted but kind of slim, and many shirts are just too short. This is good as an undershirt in my office where we cannot control the temp--so it's good when cold AND when too warm it's ok. It's best function is found outdoors while sweating in the cold. I wear it for trail running.

This shirt looks and feels great. It's meant to fit snugly to the body; I'm on the larger side of a medium and the medium was perfect for a form-fitting look. Long enough through the torso. Wish I had the same shirt in more colors and long sleeves. Great for layering in cold weather or by itself for warm weather workouts.
