Icebreaker Superfine 150 Retreat Tank Top - Merino Wool (For Women)

I love everything about this top except that I can't wear it. I wear an XL in most casual clothing, but, like much of the active clothing out there, this was way too clingy for me to feel comfortable in it. I have lots of upper body muscle, a large bust (and a bit of fat.) I wish Icebreakers and other outdoor apparel companies would make their larger sizes in a more relaxed fit. We don't need all of our bulges to show :-(

I got this in the sterling color, which is a pretty grayish lavender. I'd gladly have a lot more of these! I know I'll wear it often.

I love the look of this tank, and the quality is top notch, as to be expected with Icebreaker products. The wool is soft and smooth, but the fit is awkward. The armholes and bust are too big, causing an ugly gap at the armpit (you can see this somewhat on the picture of the mannequin). I'm 5'6"/135lb/34B and got the medium. The tank fit really well through the waist and hip (a little bit flowy, which was the look I was going for), but the bust just looked awful.

Very comfortable and soft material, didn't feel itchy at all. I am 5'9", 150 lb and the medium fits nice and slightly loose. The purple color is nice. Can be dressed up or more casual.

I'm a petite 5' 1" and the xs arm holes were so big! Great fabric, though. I own about a dozen Merino Wool shirts.
