Reviewed by CATREKER from California on Tuesday, September 24, 2013Its almost too thin if you're looking for cushion. Not bad if you aren't. Being wool, it won't smell, even after a few days of hiking or walking. That's a great feature!!!
I do have to say though.... the elastic material around the ankle part has started to break down and remains loose often times. putting it back in the washer and dryer helps, but i can see the bands breaking/ripping. I started to notice this after about 2-3 months of good use. i got a good deal on it so i won't be too harsh on it.
Reviewed by Jamba from portland maine on Monday, June 17, 2013socks looked fine but were too small
Reviewed by CATREKER from Southern California on Tuesday, June 4, 2013Feels and looks like a high quality sock, but theyre quite thinner than I thought. The website says "little cushion" but the packaging says "No Cushion". Little would've been a lot better. Love that there is a lot of wool in there and that its supposed to prevent odors. "below the ankle" but they seem a tad higher than my other socks that are "below the ankle" so they look a little weird, depending on which pair of shoe I'm wearing.
Reviewed by mainely a cyclist from Maine on Friday, May 31, 2013The padding is minimal and just right for providing reinforcement on the ball and heel of the foot while not feeling cushy. Fits well and true to size. four stars only because I don't have a sense of their durability yet.
Reviewed by Bigfoot from God's Country, TN on Wednesday, May 29, 2013Not near as good as Smart Wool even though made out of the same material.
