Reviewed by LabLover from Pittsburgh, PA on Thursday, March 03, 2011I ordered these after sending the very uncomfortable MR4 model back. These were perfect. The shoe itself is rugged but comfortable. They seem to fit a little truer to size than the MR4s (which run slightly bigger) and they are completely adjustable--i.e. no gusseted tongue. I haven't yet inserted orthotics but the shoes would accommodate them if needed. Basically, these are like my normal, rugged, comfortable trail-running shoes but with the spiked bottoms for walking on icy/slick surfaces. I purchased these primarily for walking big dogs in icy conditions and secondarily for running in icy conditions and so far they have worked very well for both.
