I ordered this jacket even though I was worred it might itch. No problem. The lining in substancial enough to prevent that with a very soft lining on the collar. Becaus it it is boiled wool it has a bit of give so it should prove to be very good for activities. The lining is ample enough to allow for the stretch of the wool without being bulking or sloppy. All in all, I am happy and anticipate compliments on this beautiful jacket when the weather gets cooler.

Although my partner thinks it has a "boxy" fit, and he wasn't as crazy about it on first viewing, when I wore it as intended--a light jacket over something else--he agreed that it is special and lovely. It is a true jacket--not designed to be too form-fitting, and loose enough to go over another layer easily. I LOVE the detail work and think the quality is positively superb.
