Most Helpful 5-Star Review

5.0 out of 5 stars. Playful surfy fun

Skied only one day, as a demo. It was a fun ski in powder and cut up powder with enough strength to use when it was cutup with packed in areas. The full rocker is fun, with good sidecut so you can get these on edge and have fun on the groomers, for a wide ski. This has some forgiveness, I also own the Seekers which is not a forgiving ski. This is much more playful than the seekers. It runs a little short on the 190 version - so the 190 does not seem to be true 190, closer to 187/188. It runs shorter than my other 190s, shorter than the Megawatt 188s.

About Icelantic

A Colorado-based ski company, Icelantic produces hand-crafted, top of the line skis for ski enthusiasts everywhere. On top of being Colorado-made, Icelantic skis' topsheets bear cutting-edge graphic art by local artist, Parr. Parr expresses his idea of how we sense reality and push the limits of rationality through fine art — art which shows up on all Icelantic skis. Icelantic skis are truly pieces of art with high functionality. Icelantic skis are so unique that you may not want to put them underfoot, but believe us, you should! The Icelantic Nomad, for instance, is a local favorite. The fat 105mm waist of the Icelantic Nomad offers exceptional performance in the backcountry as well as in the resort. With local art, craftsmanship and design, Icelantic skis are as unique and mountain-friendly as their founders.
