These socks were purchased as a Christmas gift for my husband. He has bad circulation in his feet and has been wearing cotton socks to bed. I am hoping Ice Wear Ankle Socks with Angora Wool will be better for him. As this is the 24th of Dec., he has not received his gift -- tomorrow morning on Christmas day. If he like these socks I will purchase more for him.
One concern I have is the charge for shipping to Canada and then when received here I had to pay an additional fee -- the cost for the 3 pairs of socks is approx. $100 U.S. This is too much where other vendors have free shipping to Canada. If I want additional socks, I will have to rethink paying so much for them or I will try another vendor that doesn't charge this horrendous fee.

These socks come in two absolutely different types of yarn - one that's mostly wool and angora, and the other that's rayon, nylon, rubber, etc. The first one was great. The second one is OK - I ordered a couple more pairs second time in same color expecting same wool/angora but received different quality socks.

The latest pair was a gift to the son who already owns two pair from last year. He wears them almost all the time, even slipping them into shoes for short trips outside. They wash well (hang dry) and the year old pairs look as good as new.

Socks feel nice and fit well but are too low on the ankle - no point in having cold ankles and warm feet! So I wear them at home or over leggings so there is no gap. They are a bit on the thick side so don't fit in all shoes.
