Classic Nordic sweater. Snug fit. Wind blocker a plus. Pockets too.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Chris from Arlington, VA on Monday, November 19, 2012Nice sweater, but doesn't wear like one. There is a lining beneath the pattern that blocks wind and rain. It is not soft/sweater-y inside, more like a nylon wind shirt. Not uncomfortable, just know that's what you're getting.
Trim fit. Large fits me really well, nice cut, but I could not layer underneath--no room. I often wear mediums in other shirts, but this would be too small. If you've got a belly order a size up.
This garment has a seriously great effect in person. It's cool.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by doc from Colorado on Thursday, March 8, 2012I usually order large. Too small. Ordered XL; too small. Finally XXL fits well but a bit on the generous side. Since they're made in China, they may be sized for that population.
- Cons: Sizing is a Problem
- Pros: Warm windproof
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Skiguy from Minnesota on Monday, January 16, 2012As mentioned above the sleeves are long compared to the chest dimention. Also it is not as heavy weight as the Dale of Norway sweaters with a windproof lining. The lining allows me to wear it over shortsleeved shirts without itching. It keeps me warm in my cool office.
- Best Uses: Works like a light jacket
- Cons: Lighter than Dale, Sleeves long
- Pros: like the lining, Nice looking
Verified Buyer Reviewed by DenverLover from Denver, CO on Tuesday, December 27, 2011Well, the sweater I received was made in China and not Iceland as described. The sweater has a membrane that is not soft and makes a crinkly sound. I'm sure the membrane helps keep the sweater windproof - but it wasn't worth it for me. Polartec has a number of membranes that are windproof, or wind resistant that would work better than the membrane here. I just did not see the value so I sent the sweater back...
- Cons: Membrane
- Pros: Warm
