    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    First this is NOT a merino wool product- it says "New Wool" on the label. So the sweater is kind a itchy on feel. Second of all I bought medium and I am 178/73. But it feels really tight on my neck and chest especially when I pull the zipper all the way up. If it's down it doesn't look ... cool. Other than that- good looking sweater so if you have a chicken neck and don't care about the itchiness go for it.

    Used this up in the Swiss alps for skiing on a crisp clear day and also for walking on a cold frosty morning. Can also be used as a great second layer under a ski jacket on a really bad day. Even used it to the pub on a wintry evening. So great versatility. With it being thinner than the usual woollen sweaters it is easier to stow away in the backpack. On a cold windy day a thin windshield is needed to give better protection from the cold and for me the sleeves are a bit long but not annoyingly so. If I said it already feels like a "good old favourite" that sums it up well.
