Icewear Opera Cardigan Sweater - Wool (For Women)

The button holes on this were stretched out and looked as if someone had worn it previously. One button fell off as soon as I put it on - not a big deal, I sewed it back on. Just not very classy looking with the stretched out button holes. I am returning it.

Lovely sweater- had it fit, I would have kept it even with the scratchy wool. Needs a thick cotton shirt beneath it.

This is a very warm comfortable sweater dressy and casual

I most often wear an 8..and order a small size.I ordered the medium and it was too small for me.So,you really need to size up when ordering this sweater. A con for me,maybe not for someone else,was the grosgrain and velvet ribbon trim. On the web site, the grosgrain was in shades of brown,and the velvet ribbon was a light tan,which matched the sweater. The sweater I received had dark brown velvet ribbon,and the grosgrain was brown with shades of purple in the flowers. I did not like it at all..and thought it cheapened the look of the sweater. I returned the sweater ,since it was too small,but I probably would have exchanged it for a large ,if the trim had been as pictured. On the positive side,it is very well knit,and is the kind of sweater you could dress up or down.

I normally wear a size small in a Woolrich or Alps sweater. Based on previous comments, I purchased a size medium but to my surprise it was too tight and didn't hang correctly. I returned the sweater for a size large which fits much better.

The sweater is beautiful and well made!
