    I was disappoined that one of the brads holding the handle to the bag came off two days after I started using it. I will have this repaired, but it should not have happened.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The white embroidery looks like high maintenance,(I have the purse in white leather with white embroidery)as I have no idea how to clean it if and when it gets soiled. I do love it though, particularly at this price. I thoroughly enjoy all praise the purse receives. I do store it in it's handy dandy cloth bag when not in use. However, I will not be using it much, only for important occasions. I almost sent it back but couldn't bear to do so, it is such a beautiful purse.
