I bought the purse for a fall wedding to complement the jewelry and dress I will be wearing in October. The not silver but more pewter/steel tone of the frame and chain, accents the tones of my clothes, better than a chrome silver or gold color would. The embroidery on the bag is not a favorite feature, I think it cheapens the look. I wish the leather were plain. It will work for what I plan to use it for, and will go with other evening clothes as well.
