Inov-8 Road-X 233 Running Shoes - Minimalist (For Men and Women)
Closeouts. If you want to ditch excess weight and extra features in favor of high mileage, Inov-8's Road-X 233 running shoes are your golden ticket. Absolute performance comes in the form of a Dynamic Fascia Band, replicating and supporting the foot's plantar fascia ligament for an improved gait cycle and reduced fatigue. Plus, the low-profile Road-X outsole has razor-cut siping for grip even in the wet.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hiker-Ed from Texas on Wednesday, September 3, 2014I haven't put a lot of miles on them yet, but so far so good. I'm using these both in the gym for strength training, on the treadmill and minimally on the road. They have great comfort and support, considering how little cushion there is compared to most running shoes. This minimalist feel makes them a great choice for squats and dead-lift too. We'll see how I feel in them in about 12 weeks!
Reviewed by Steve from Vermont on Tuesday, May 27, 2014I took these out of the box on Sunday morning and ran 26.2 miles at the Vermont City Marathon in Burlington - and my feet felt great. I am a size 11.5, I ordered size 12, and they were perfect for running. I also wear Inov-8s for CrossFit (not this pair, but a true minimalist shoe) and they have held up for months of abuse, HEAVY Olympic weightlifting, and many shorter runs, etc. Inov-8s are great, and I highly recommend this pair.

Reviewed by shoutscout from left coast on Thursday, November 21, 2013so far i have 25 miles on these very red trainers....I like them well enough because of comfy upper
and room in toe box.....the last seems similar to New Balance minimus mt 20 which I like....The one
issue I have with shoe is that the fit on heel counter is different than other shoes....It hits my heel where
tendon connects to heel.....since loosening them up on heel it has helped.....I usually use heel lock lacing
but with this shoe it was making heel too tight.....overall a good choice for someone transitioning to lower
zero drop shoe or some one looking for a lower to the ground firm riding trainer/racer.....run on....
Reviewed by Texas Gunnie from Texas on Wednesday, July 31, 2013this is a second pair I have bought for my son. He has plantar fascia and he has really liked the shoe. Maybe runs a half size small but I believe it depends on your foot and width.
Reviewed by Providane from Trenton, NJ on Thursday, May 16, 2013I was wary to order a whole size up, so I ordered a half size up to be pleasantly surprised by a firm, snug fit. I bought these for training, which includes treadmill running. They serve as a great shoe for either; I find improved stability due to a wider sole than my previous minimalist shoes.
Reviewed by TKDmom from Iowa on Tuesday, April 2, 2013I bought the shoes for my son with his workouts. He works out in various gyms, so he wanted a shoe that he could jump as well as run. I'm glad that the shoes were available with the least cost.
